This Fall we are offering several art classes for all ages. Our evening classes are geared for young and old alike, while our Saturday classes are geared for students looking to learn and have fun at the same time. Registration for each class is available at

Note that the list of class categories are on the left after you click FALL 2017, “Arts and Crafts” will list the Adult evening classes and “Just for Kids” will list our Saturday classes.

SATURDAY KIDS CLASSES
Art Explorations –Multi Media – Grades K – 6
Instructor: Cecelia Zisk, Susan Schneider, NPAA
8 weeks Start Date: 10/7/17
Time: Saturday, 2 Sessions available: 1st session 9 AM- 10:30 AM Fee: $117
2nd session 11AM- 12:30PM Fee: $117
Description: Students will create artwork using a variety of techniques and mediums which may include paints, printmaking, pastels, markers, clay and more. Two and Three Dimensional projects which may include seasonal themes will be included. Classes are geared to all levels. Fee includes materials.
Cartooning – Ages 6-18
Instructor: Caroline Neisley,NPAA
8 weeks Start Date: 10/7/17 Time: Saturday, 9-10:30AM Fee: $117
Description: Learn about penciling, inking, materials, Manga & American character design, action poses, storytelling, drawing & making comics. Fee includes materials
Beginner Drawing – Grades 2-5
Instructor: Dan Fione, NPAA
8 weeks. Start Date: 10/7/17 Time: Saturday, 9AM –10:30AM Fee: $117
Description: Learn the basics of drawing including line, form, contrast, perspective. Both black & white and color medium may be explored. Fee includes materials.
Drawing for Kids – Grades 6 and up
Instructor: Dan Fione, NPAA
8 weeks Start Date: 10/7/17 Time: Saturday, 11AM-12:30PM Fee: $117
Description: Students will review basic drawing concepts, learning to develop and refine these skills, using a variety of black & white and color mediums such as pencil, charcoal, pastel and more. Fee includes materials.
Oil/ Acrylics–Age 10-Adult
Instructor: William Letvenko,NPAA
10 weeks. Start Date: 10/7/17 Time: 11AM-1PM Fee: $123
Description: Beginning and skilled artists will learn basic oil painting techniques, color theory, composition and rules of perspective. Parents are required to attend the first class with school-aged children to get information regarding materials needed. Fee includes one canvas board.
ADULT CLASSES
Adult Multi Media
Instructor: Barbara Moss Buscher, NPAA
Day / Time:Tuesday. 7 – 9 PM, 10 weeks. Start Date: 9/26/17 Fee: $123
Description: Not sure what medium you are interested in? This class is for you. Working in different mediums, which may include pen & ink, printmaking, watercolor, collage, fabric arts, and sculpture you will create original works of art.
A $40 materials fee will be payable to instructor on first night of class. Please bring pencil and notepaper to class.
Drawing with Confidence – NEW CLASS!!
Instructor: Caroline Niesley, NPAA
Day / Time:Monday. 7 – 9 P, 10 weeks. Start Date: 9/25/17 Fee: $123
Description: All levels welcome! All mediums, personal instruction at your own pace without pressure, relax and see your skills improve. Geared to all interests. Please bring pencil and paper to first class. Supply list will be discussed in first class.
Watercolor – Age 15 – Adult
Instructor: Barbara Moss Buscher, NPAA
Day/Time: Monday, 7-9P, 10 weeks. Start Date: 9/25/17 Fee: $123
Description: Explore color theory and composition basics. Working in different color harmonies, experience the fluidity of the medium. Utilizing a variety of subject matter, including your own photos, still life, and your imagination, experiment with various painting techniques. Bring pencil & paper to classes. All levels welcome! A $70 materials fee payable to instructor at first class. Registration due by 9/15/17, so supplies may be ordered. Returning students will explore new techniques and work with their personal interests.
Ceramics
Instructor: Julianna Lange & Cara Wilson, NPAA
Day / Time: Thursday, 7 – 9 PM 8 session. Start Date 9/28/17 Fee: $123
Description: Intro into hand building; pinch, coil and slab methods. Explore new techniques with both red clay, which is native to our area, and white clay. Open studio for advanced students. Basic potter’s wheel available for experienced students. All levels welcome. A $45 materials fee which includes firing time is payable to instructor at first class. Registration must be in by 9/18/17,to allow for ordering of supplies.

North Penn Arts Alliance 
Is it too late to register me and my daughter for the oil/Acrylics classes that are on tues. ( it starts tomorrow ) but unfortunately I just found this. I would just go with the other one that’s on Saturdays but my daughter is at her fathers everyother weekend. Thanks in advance!
