Abstract Painting (Ages 18 and older)
When: Wednesdays, 4/19 – 5/10, 6:00pm-8:00pm
Where: North Penn High School, J12
Cost: $60.00
Description: Learn new technique and painting departures by experimenting with layering colors, adding texture, creating mark-making and dripping paints. Explore a series of artistic prompts/exercises to support letting go, connecting to intuition and stop judging your work. Supply list will be provided. Materials Fee of $25 will be payable to your instructor the day of class.
Alcohol Ink Workshop
When: Mondays, 4/24 – 5/1, 7:00pm-9:00pm
Where: North Penn High School, J18 and J6
Cost: $48.00
Description: Discover the magic of alcohol inks. this mercurial, vibrant, wildly colorful medium is a fun way to jump start your creativity. Perfect for beginners or skilled artists, while creating one of a kind artwork great for framing and gift giving. Wear old clothes or bring a smock. A supply list will be provided.
Neurographic Art (Ages 18+)
When: Saturday, 4/29, 12:30pm-3:30pm
Where: North Penn High School, J7
Cost: $30.00
Description: This meditative drawing process combines psychology and art and links your conscious and subconscious mind to create new neural pathways. By drawing smooth, controlled curves and smoothing out the edges, you will create a complex drawing that looks similar to neurons. Then, color. No previous drawing experience required. Bring painters tape, watercolor paper, fine line and ultra fine black sharpie markers (not oil based) and watercolors or colored pencils. May also bring white posca paint marker.
Oil/Acrylic for Children Age 10 – Adult
When: Saturdays, 2/25 – 5/13, 11:00am-1:00pm
Where: North Penn High School, J7
Cost: $121.00
Description: Beginning and skilled artists will learn basic oil painting techniques, color theory, composition and rules of perspective. Parents are required to attend the first class with school-aged children to get information regarding materials needed. Fee includes one canvas board.

Gemstone & Glass Bead Bracelet
Description: Create an original strung bracelet using a variety of gemstones and glass beads. Students will get to select from a wide assortment of beads to create an original bracelet that will include a charm dangle and choice of toggle clasp. If you finish early, you are welcome to make a second bracelet for an addition materials fee. This would make a perfect Mother’s Day gift! Check out the instructor’s Etsy store: TwinRoseStudio

Make Art Mondays
Make Art Mondays are monthly 2 hour workshops, held the third Monday of the month, 7-9 p.m., at 125 N. Main Street in North Wales. Try your hand at a wide variety of subjects and media in the company of other artists. Costs for supplies are usually $5.00. Below is a schedule of what we have planned for the year.
