ADULT MULTIMEDIA ART

Tuesdays, 7=9 p.m., 8 sessions

Description:This Class will explore a variety of techniques based on different styles, genres and folk art with each project. Media will vary and may include pen & ink, printmaking, watercolor, drawing, alcohol inks, collage, fabric arts, and three-dimensional projects to create original works of art. Demos and examples will be provided. All skill levels welcome. A $40 materials fee will be payable to instructor on first night of class. Please bring pencil and notepaper to class.
OIL/ACRYLICS — AGE 15-ADULT

Description: Intuitive Painting is a liberating experience for all skill levels. This workshop offers a variety of new techniques and painting departures to energize your paintings and your life. Using acrylic paints, experiment with layering colors, adding texture, creating mark-making, and pouring paints. Paint pouring is a form of abstract painting using fluid paints and allowing gravity to move the paint without a preconceived notion of final product. Explore a series of artistic exercises to support letting go, connecting to intuition abstracting your work and letting go of judging our work. Supply fee $45 payable to instructor first class. Please register 1 week prior to first class to allow for ordering supplies.
