Join us on Monday, May 11th from 6:30-8:30 pm over at Eclipse Center for Creative Community located at 30 Vine Street in Lansdale for our Members Meeting and Make Art Monday. For this month’s project we will be making eggshell mosaics, so save your eggshells! This art form dates back to the Italian Renaissance and earlier. In preparation for the project, you will need to wash, dry, and remove the membrane from your eggshells. The eggshells can be any color. You can color before (as in Easter eggs) or paint and stain them after with watercolor or alcohol inks. Helpful items to bring are tweezers, an X-Acto knife, and skewers to help place pieces. We will provide instruction, painted backing, and glue. The cost of admission is $10, and all skill levels welcome. Additionally, we will have a brief Members Meeting during the evening.
